Returns - usually not a problem - just read the
following policies
Product:
At the time of delivery, please very product Quantity.
Product claims must be made BEFORE installation.
All Wood should
be inspected for manufacturing quality, grade and moisture
content at upon delivery. Returns must be made before
product is installed and within 30
days. Cut or altered wood is not returnable. All returns of non-defective merchandise are subject to
a 20% fee.
Before signing delivery receipt,
Customer must verify count. In the unlikely event of a discrepancy, customer
must note on delivery receipt prior to signing. If
there is any problem call ABS before
signing the delivery receipt.
Custom Product:
Any custom ordered product is
non-returnable. This includes custom T&G, Deckclip or
Ipeclip grooving,
custom created wraps, grooved slip tread, and any other
milled or custom built lumber.
Ask as many questions as you want prior to order. We can
answer questions, we can send photos, we will do what ever
it takes to insure you understand exactly what you are
buying. We want you to be happy with your decking.
Avoiding Returns:
Please call and describe the problem. We have craftsmen
available who can help solve most issues.
Samples are complimentary. Sample
shipping is non-refundable.
Promotional Items:
no returns on discontinued products, any promotional items marked as non-refundable
or monthly specials.
Original Packaging:
Open boxes cannot be returned.
All returns must be unopened and in original packaging. .
All wood is a product of nature.
Wood is a living growing thing and like any living thing has its
own personality and characteristics such as colors and varying grain
patterns. Imperfections like as milling
artifacts or quilting that can be sanded out will not
be considered a defective product.
The skilled contractor, woodworker and
DIYer know that there are many ways to use the unique
properties of wood to enhance any project. Usually the
simple solutions are the best. If one board face is not to
your liking turn it over. An orbital sander with 80 or 100
grit paper can remove planer blade shatter (light marks that
are perpendicular to the grain on all milled wood) or other
imperfections. If your deck is ever damages, this is also how you can renew
your ipe.
